Leading Lights
At Newlands Primary we give every pupil the chance to take on responsibilities that help them grow in confidence, kindness and independence. These roles from answering phones and leading visitor tours to looking after the library let children try new things and develop the character skills they need for life.
Our Personal Development curriculum means that every child will have a Pupil Responsibility at some point during their time at Newlands. We make sure there is a role for everyone, so all pupils can contribute in a way that suits them and feel included.
